On Sunday, February 17, we tried to deliver the 7,500 signatures we have collected on our petition to remove Roger Mahony to Los Angeles Archbishop Jose Gomez. I watched the video but only saw one person. He was in the Habit, looking very timid. He looked like he couldn’t look Archbishop Gomez in the eye and was ready to run and jump through a window like the cowardly lion in The Wizard of Oz. The other guy came across as very clear and held his ground, which was good for him he didn’t back down. But let me say this when you see a man wearing a Habit, don’t think for one minute he’s a Saint, and that he is doing God’s work in this case, I think he’s causing more work for God.
